We are often deluded into thinking that a wall provides absolute privacy. At Holm Studios, we see architectural enclosure as something far more complex: a multivalent experience where the city and the self constantly bleed into one through a series of simultaneous narratives.

Interiors is a cinematic probe into the subjective reading of boundaries. Through the lens of a short film, we question the very materiality that separates our private rituals from the exterior world. It is an exploration of the "outsider" perspective, recognizing that even within our most intimate sanctuaries, we are often only ever experiencing fragments of the whole.

This inquiry challenges the meaning we subscribe to enclosure. It asks us to look beyond the physical stone and glass to the reciprocal role of privacy—acknowledging that true sanctuary is not found in isolation, but in the intentional curation of the thresholds between us and the city. In our work, we utilize these insights to design spaces that don't just enclose life, but honor the mystery and depth of our experience within it.
